Rome is a beautiful, ancient city, enchanting and full of life. You cannot help, but be inspired by the long walks, the colorful, Renaissance buildings, ornate cozy streets, the sunsets, the cute cafes and bakeries, the energy, the breath-taking views of just about anything. Fountains, museums, gardens, amazing hills and tiny, beautiful streets – they are everywhere. The city has witnessed so much; just think of its ancient stories deeply absorbed in the walls, if only they could talk.
Yasen and I spent three full days in the city, and the time was enough for us to explore, enjoy, relax and also visit the Vatican City (we booked the tickects for the museum online, a week in advance). However, I found out you cannot get enough of Rome!
As I am not fond of the hot weather, we chose October for our romantic trip away from Copenhagen, which explains my blue cardigan on some of the photos:) Given our destination, however, we still got 27 degrees during two out ofthe three days we spent in Rome.
I won’t type too much into the post, because the photos say it much better. Besides, there are not good enough words to describe the magical atmosphere of Rome and Vatican city.
